For the last eighteen years I have run a busy counselling and psychotherapy practice in Hindhead, on the Surrey/Hampshire border. I have a special interest in neurodiversity and am passionate about promoting inclusivity for diverse brain types.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), accredited by the Professional Standards Authority, and my practice is governed by its code of ethics.
In addition to my private practice, I have worked for the Surrey NHS Youth Counselling Service; The Wharf Practice; a leading addiction recovery service; a number of counselling charities; RASASC (Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre); and within an in-patient psychiatric unit. Prior to qualifying as a psychotherapist twenty years ago, I worked in business and the arts.
I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from Roehampton University, Surrey, and completed postgraduate training at the Metanoia Institute, London, on the MSc in Relational Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. I have an Advanced Diploma in ADHD Coaching and studied Advanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre. I have also undertaken postgraduate training in Clinical Supervision; Couples Therapy; Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT); and Mindfulness.
